Arts Tasmania and TasTAFE are seeking expressions of interest from Aboriginal artists to create contemporary artworks in three locations for the student accommodation building on the Burnie Campus. TasTAFE are looking to commission artists to create artwork designs to be printed on vinyl for glass, sculptural elements attached to a fence structure and artwork panels to hang on the wall.
The redevelopment is strongly focused on enhancing the overall on-campus experience for TasTAFE students. The artworks selected for this commission will support this objective by welcoming students to the campus and fostering a sense of belonging and community.
