Public art - Launceston Learning Services (073990)

Submissions closed at midnight 11 June 2019 (AEST).

Applications are sought from contemporary furniture designer/makers to create outdoor seating for the Launceston Learning Services staff.

The new accommodation spaces for staff will be built on the grounds of Brooks High School but not accessed by students. The large grassy area directly outside the office building is an attractive space for staff to be able to sit and enjoy being outdoors during their breaks. There is an opportunity for designer/makers to create seating elements that could enliven the space and be functional.

This commission is open to Tasmanian artists only.
