We are seeking applications from contemporary artists, designers and sculptors to create a freestanding external artwork at Franklin Primary School.
The school would like the artwork to function as a welcoming entranceway feature for the students, staff and community.
They would also like the artwork concepts to reflect the local Franklin area, which is well known for its scenic beauty and relationship to the Huon River, wooden boats, historic buildings and vibrant community.
This commission is open to Tasmanian artists only.
