Public art - Montagu Bay Primary School (074547)

Submissions closed at midnight 2 March 2020 (AEDT).

Applications are sought from sculptors, object designers and environmental artists to create an artwork which provides a focal point for a new outdoor ‘art precinct’ at Montagu Bay Primary School.

The precinct will overlook Montagu Bay, and is intended to encourage gathering, conversation and quiet reflection, away from the more active areas of the school grounds.

Artists may like to reference the natural elements of water and wind, or images of sails and sky, which characterise the site. References to the geology and history of the site are also welcome.

This commission is open to Tasmanian artists only.

Applications close 11:59 pm, Monday 2 March 2020
