Public art - Penguin District School
Penguin District School is seeking expressions of interest from contemporary artists who would like to be considered for this unique public art opportunity.
The school would like to work in partnership with an artist or artist team to develop an artwork or series of artworks that will engage students and the school community.
Firstly we are asking for expressions of interest from artists who would like to be considered for this public art opportunity. Three artists or artist teams will be shortlisted from the EOI process to develop a concept proposal by engaging directly with stakeholders to develop a design proposal. Shortlisted artists will be paid a fee for this stage.
A proposal will be selected from the shortlisted artists and the successful artist or artist team will go on to create the artwork.
This commission is open to Tasmanian artists only.
