Public art - Zeehan Primary School (075715)

Submissions closed at midnight 20 January 2020 (AEDT).

Zeehan Primary School was established in 1891 during the glory days of mining in Zeehan and the West Coast of Tasmania. The school is proud of its rich mining history and they would like to commission an artwork that communicates that story to their students, the community and visitors to the town.

Applications are sought from contemporary artists to create a contemporary artwork that tells that story. This could be either a freestanding or wall based artwork that will be located at the front entrance to the school.

This commission is open to Tasmanian artists only.

For more information see the Arts Tasmania website: www.arts.tas.gov.au/public_art

Applications close 11:59 pm, Monday 20 January 2020
